RTi10 Questions - Why isn't there more discussion on them?
I found a guy locally selling a pair of RTi10, so I was doing the normal online research on here, and it just seems that these speakers don't get too much attention. Is it because the RTi8s are really nice and smaller/cheaper and the RTi12 is such a major improvement that people don't stop on the speaker in between? I know all three of these speakers are well respected, but I'd just like to get some fresh feedback on the 10's. Thanks!

It depends on what you're looking for... I have the RTi A7s (newer version of RTi10) and I bought them because I didn't want to use a sub for music. Powered sufficiently, the 10s will sound great.
I've seen some folks say that the RTi8s (RTi A5) have better midrange because they use 2 of the midrange woofers. If you have a sub, that'll fill in the low end. And I suspect that the 8s are easier to power.
If you have a powerful enough external amp, the 12s (RTi A9s) should include the best characteristics of the 8s and 10s with even better bass.
What would you be powering the speakers with?ALL BOXED UP for a while until I save up for a new place

I have a Denon 4310, but I am actively searching for a power amp on the used market. Hoping to find a diamond in the rough  -
The RTi10's are very good speakers. I use mine for mostly H/T as I have a seperate 2 channel system. From time to time I will use them for 2 channel and they sound ok. You will be able to power them nicely with that Denon 4310. You should also be able to get the 10's for a very good price these days also. Some people find the RTi8's a little bright for music.....so the 10's could be your better option. Before I got my SC-35 I used a Denon AVR-888 for my H/T and the 10's sounded very good run by the Denon. The 4310 would be even better than the 888.Home Theatre.............
