Receiver recommendations?

Hey all-
I just purchased two Monitor 60s along with the matching series II center and powered sub.
For the meantime, I intend to operate without any rears. I'm thinking that I'll only ever need 5.1.
I've got 2 hdmi inputs and I'd like on screen menus. So far, I've been interested in the Pioneer VSX-521.
Any recommendations and feedback would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

Pretty much any entry level receiver these days will drive those speakers, and have on screen menu's with HDMI ports. Thing is, if you plan on upgrading speakers in the near future, you may want to look at something alittle more powerful and with preouts to allow the addition of an amp if so desired later on.HT SYSTEM-

I agree with tonyb. My 1st AVR did not have pre outs. after a year i bought my 2nd AVR with pre outs. I used to have M60 II and i really like them. in hinesight i have second thoughts that i should have stayed with those speaker. The one upgrade that made the most improvement was the subwoofer. Good luck with your new speakers.Marantz SR 7007
