I have loved my Lsi15's for years but after listening to the Golden Ear speakers the Pols sound 2 dimensional and lifeless.. Bummer. Behold the joy of listeningto new products

Interesting. I heard a full 5.1 setup at my dealer a few months ago, and I didn't care for them.

    Hmmm... interesting

I really disliked the Tritons when I heard them - they sounded like fantastic HT speakers though...
    - Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

I think this is the first person to favorably evaluate them, seems like a good portion of listeners here were either utterly disappointed after hoping for a good experience or at least left unimpressed. I had hoped they would bring the gap between my Mythos and something more musical, but that card has seem to have been played by the new LSiM series.

Yeah, first post of someone digging them that I can recall anyway. All I can add to that is if the Tritons float your boat, thats cool, but you should really get out more and get an ear on some others too. Big world of speaker makers out there on the musical speaker side of things.

The tritons are overrated IMHO, but they are still a good value for the money. I heard them when I visited Chicago and left knowing my Sinisters would wipe the floor with the tritons in every respect. The tritons are fun, but not high end musical transducers.
