Picked up one at Goodwill last week - interesting little device. It's supposed to be an ancient digital media player. I was wondering if anyone ever played with one, and if it's possible to upgrade the hard drive inside. I suppose i could just clone the 40gb ide drive to something larger like 250.

It is more of a digital recorder. I have heard people say they sounded very good but that was a long time ago and digital media has come very far since then.

I need to hook it up and see how it is. Too bad the USB port is only for messing with the names. It really just looks like an interesting piece.
