    Never heard them but have read that they dont sound very good at all from a few owners but they could be wrong

    There is a pair on ebay for $499 but remember that you get what you pay for in this game

    The Q7 is probably the best HT speaker Kef makes for the price. But it is not there best speaker.

    I have heard them and they can be shrill compared to the Q900's

    I never heard the Q7's (pretty long in the tooth) so I can't comment on how they sound. I don't know what you're looking for but get your ears on KEF's New Q Series...the whole line is superb. I recently picked up the Q900's & the matching Q600 center. They replaced my LSi15's & LSiC. They have 3 tower models, the 500, 700, & the Big Dog 900's & 2 bookies, the 100,300. They will simply astound you.

    I havent heard the kef q7 but the company i work for is a Kef dealer, and trust me, The Q series (q500 ) floor standers are head and shoulders above my polks (rtiA5) The price is a little more, but they are so much more dynamic and cast a wider soundstage. I am not trying to trash the polks, they arent bad, but I have been able to A/B compair and can say to my ear the kefs are better.
