Stunning pair of Polk Audio's greatest speaker line ever. The SDA-SRS line is considered among the legends of audio, and these 2.3TL's are considered to be the best of the best. These speakers have been well cared for in a smoke free home for their entire lives, and I am the second owner. Cosmetically they are in as pristine a condition as a twenty year old speaker can be. The tops have been refinished to perfect condition, the grill cloths also show perfectly. Their performance is simply stunning and must truly be heard to be believed. Their impressive size (5'hx2'wx16"d) literally disapear when they begin to sing. The soundstage is so immence and eep that you become one with the performance. In a surround setup, these speakers will blow your mind with their sheer power and presence.
Polk Audio's SDA-SRS 2.3TL's are so good that it would cost you ten grand to equal what these speakers can do. Grab this pair.

I have seen these in person. They look factory and sound AWESOME. Also I believe John has replaced all gaskets with Armacell. I do not think these have an upgraded crossover but I could be wrong as he was in process of acquiring parts when he moved from Indiana to CA.

John, are they the SL-3000's still or RDO-198-1's?

With all the mods these very nice speakers go to a much higher level. $750 is an absolute killer price! I paid more for mine, and then more again to complete all the mods :loneranger:

Still trying to figure out who smoked my CL listing, and why. There is nothing about the listing that is against CL policy. The words here are exactly the same in the ad except the phone number is listed in a way that I cannot get 'bot generated calls.

In my experience w Craigslist. Anyone for any reason can and will flag your posting. Just relist it each time they flag it. I personally believe they are either haters, or someone else with something simular for sale ,or someone interested in your item and want it first dibs?,
I would love to get these shipped to me .but I know how shippers have done my speaker boxes from Polk. Luckily speakers came out of boxes unharmed..

I paid $900 for mine, which were also in very good shape, so your price is a bargain. It's hard to say why they're not going. Advertising here, CL and the Gon should cast a wide net.
