H/K AVR247 ... replacement

My H/K AVR 247 refurb just kicked the bucket and is out of warrenty. I only paid $210, so was a complete bargain for what I use it for. My 2-channel and HT are blended together right now since I just moved.
Configuration at the moment...
inputs:
PS3 via HDMI
Computer via HDMI and toslink
Rotel 1072 via interconnects
Cable BOX via HDMI (yes, that adds up to 3 hdmi inputs... I have a switch for 2 of them since the HK only has 2 hsmi inputs)
Output:
HDMI to TV
interconnect to ADCOM GFA7000 for L, R, and also 2 interconnects to the multiroom outputs on the AVR for bedroom speakers...so I need multiroom capability again.
This unit has been working very well as a 2-channel pre for both my analog input and my computer toslink input. I realise it's not as good as a standalone, 2-channel pre, but sounds surprisingly good for what it is.
I will have a quote to repair it today, but... short of finding another AVR247... What should I consider that would do the job above for minimal $'s? It doesnt' look like the newer HK's have any preouts... which is odd.
Denon? I dont' need monster power because I use an external amp for everything. Any processors that would be good and can be had for little $'s?
