    You gotta be happy for the hometown guy w/ 2 strikes in the bottom of 9th and sends it to extra innings - then wins the game ... wow that is how you dream about it as a kid.

    Rangers are starting to remind me of the BUFFALO BILLS...:cry:

    But regardless of who wins tonight ... it's been a good series .. close games between 2 seemingly evenly matched ballclubs

    Rangers were never really in the game after the first inning tonight. The Cards were clearly the better team and deserved the win. I won some cash, but if the rangers had managed one more run tonight I would've won a lot more...

    Congrats, Cardinals!!! What a season for them!!! Chris Carpenter was magnificent the whole October!!! The Rangers deserved to lose after blowing Game 6 :razz:

    Just because someone is 'your team' doesn't mean you can't objectively evaluate their performance.

    I was rooting for the rangers all the way, but when it came time to put my money down I put it on the cards in 7 by 3 runs (3 separate pools), not because that's what I wanted to happen but because that's what I thought would happen, I was only one point away from winning all 3 pools. Guys at work gave me crap for 'betting against my team', but whatever, with my money I'm going to play it smart.

    Huh? It's a thread on a public forum, you ask something people are gonna respond. If you want to have a private conversation there's a feature on here called private messaging, otherwise if you post it in the open expect someone to respond.
