I got it yesterday ordered from 6th Avenue. Denon DVD 3910:smile:

it is awesome! I love it! it is huge! and heavy! Picture is better than the Pioneer I'm using although I'll eventually go to using it just for Audio. I know that sounds nuts but until I have a new TV I can't use the HDMI on the one I have now so I'll hook it up to my stereo soon.

i would've gone with a 3930CI but it was $1,000 from idk who that is that's selling it. I would've gotten a 2910, but it's too small, and Dakmart doesn't double box it for some reason or another. would've gotten 2930CI but it was $200 more than this one.

This is my first High-priced High-end piece of equipment and is the start of a higher end line of equipment for my home theater.

This player will be used beside a Blu-Ray player of some kind that will be purchased in the future. Why did I get this player instead of a blu-ray player you ask? I can only think of one reason, I want a DVD player and a blu-ray player in my home theater:D

Congrats! That's a nice player. It's good for 2-channel music and does SACD's pretty well too.

Yes sir, it's huge but love it. I guess the reason i got this one instead of a blu-ray player is because I didn't see one that was Big and had a classic look like this one did. I have it sitting on top of my component tower right now and it dwarfs my receiver and other components haha

That's how I feel about my big, beasty Teac cassette deck, it's as big as my Marantz 2270, and weighs about as much :loneranger:! Teac V-8000S Marantz 2270.jpg My 'new' Onix CDP weighs about 25lbs, built like a tank...bigger and heavier is always better...eh?

Still don't understand why you want a BluRay and a DVD player? What am I missing here?

I think the OP has a mixed message above. But I'd say that he's got to be thinking AUDIO--this is a good Universal Player that does nice SACD duty and is also a very good CDP.

Yeah, idk why the AUDIO thing didn't come up before lol You can play Cd's and all with blu-ray players but I've heard nothing but good things about Denon's universal players. I can't hear nor feel this thing vibrate at all and you can turn the display all the way off if need be which is nice.

thanks folks. I love it, it's the best money I've ever spent on an audio thing, audio definitely is outstanding, I've only had it 4 days and am extremely happy with it.
