Hola Polkies, these are for Local pickup only. I seriously don't have the time to pack and ship. My lease on the house is upand they've raised the rent waaaay to high to renew. So I'm selling these items first, I realize there's only a couple of you that live close, but I'd rather see them go to a fellow member here.

The ML's have perfect oak side rails and black powdercoated stator 'grills', the MDF matte black cab sides show a few scuff marks, one has a dime sized chip on the rounded corner area. Both 10" woofers were replaced 2 years ago with the uprated ones. The originals will be included, they just had cone/surround seperation that can be renewed, the cones/surrounds/voice coils are fine. The panels are original, but are very clean and were vacuumed once a month by the original owner and by me (the last 6 years). They have the auto-shut off if no signal is present, I always turn the amp off when not in use, that keeps them from attracting dust. I never allow smoking around them, but my roommate has smoked in the house when I'm not around, so I can't honestly say they come from a non-smoking home. There is a slight static clicking when the amp is powered up, very slight, they haven't had any sound degradation since I got them aprox. 6 years ago. They sound awesome for what they are, I get very good bass response with the new woofers and their placement in my room. All four original adjustable flat disk footers are there. And some awesome, multistrained speaker cable with gold Tiffainy spades on one end, bare wire on the other come with them. I don't know who made the cables, they came with them. I'm asking $400.

The Yamaha MX-800U is mint. Itwas box fresh when I bought it 3 years ago, still has the plastic guard behind the speaker binding posts, it had that 'new amp' smell for the first few weeks I owned it. There is a tiny 1 1/2 inch imperfection on the plastic meter face that you can only see in the right light at the right angle. The metal cab and footers are perfect. 170wpc @8ohms, 600w @1ohm, very low distortion, 3 sets of speakers can be used, the meter range can be set for 8, 4 and 2 ohms, all LED segments work fine, very Darth Vader looking amp in the day or night. It has adjustable level outputs for CD direct. I'm asking $300 OR $500 for the pair Firm.

There will be some other goodies coming up soon, a Marantz 2270 receiver and maybe another amp and preamp I haven't decided yet, depends on how big the new place will be. Thanks for looking, I can arrange for demo's of course.! ML vacuuming.jpg

Sorry, I didn't type that right. $300 for the amp, $400 for the ML's, or $500 for both speakers and the amp.

Update, one of my buddies wants to buy the Logan's and he's going to give me $500 for just them, he doesn't need the Yamaha, so I might get to keep that ( I love that amp). Anyhoo, the sale is pending the wifes approval, I should find out this weekend...this means I'll still be able to hear them every now and then, he lives way out near Vail AZ, about a 30min drive, think good thoughts for me

Did mantis sell his 600U? I didn't want to step on his sale offering up mine at the same time.

    Sold!!! Sold!!! SOLD!!!

This really hurt  I cried when the Pilot console sold, but this time I was embarrassing in front of the new owner and his wife, they were both real nice about it, I always considered myself a tough guy, I didn't shed a tear at my Grandmothers funeral, but all this has just been too much for the 'ol stuwster

Some of ya'll have sent me some very nice PMs wishing me well and offering help and good thoughts, I really, really appreciate that guys, thanks!! I'll get through this ...I always do somehow! With this sale, I got exactly what I needed to get 1st/last months rent and deposit on some apts on my list, so someone up there is lookin' out for me . And I finally found steady full-time employment, Yay!!!

It's nice to be a part of such a great group of folks here at CP!!

    Humbly,
    stu
