H15 + Uverse

Anyone have this setup? I am trying to figure out if I can connect my Uverse stuff to the H15. The Router/Brain box runs off a UPS (Belkin I think). Not sure if I can plug the UPS into the H15 or not. Also not sure if I can use the Ethernet jack for the Uverse data coming in.
If I cant I might be screwed as most of the gear I am protecting with the H15 (Xbox, Blu-ray, DVR, etc) have ethernet jacks on them that would pass a surge through them. Also since the router passes signal to my upstairs components that could hit my computer upstairs, as well as the DVR up there......
APC wasnt totally sure about connecting the Belkin (I called) and they are not to sure on the ethernet either. I will call Uverse later tonight, but was hoping someone here might have the answer for me.

Called Uverse and they said I can use the Ethernet jack on the APC with no problems. They called Belkin and transfered me over there. After giving them the model number of the battery backup I had they told me I should be fine.
