Never mind! Just saw it. The Emotiva XSP-1. $899 wow! Thats alot of cheddar. I like the smaller form factor of the USP-1. Hopefully its not too much of a difference.

Well since we last conversed Mantis... I've done quite a bit of tweaking to my SC 35 and am very convinced it has plenty of power to easily fuel my RTA 12's. I've separated them from the sub and set them both on the ground. Made plenty of manual MCACC equalization and found a nice balance on both movie and music.

If I lived closer I would come over and tune your entire system for yeah. Hell I can even do a ISF to your display.
I suggest you read the manual and learn all about MCACC. Put that mic in your seating position , make sure it's dead quite and let it do it's thing.
As far as position / placement of your speakers , I'm sure I can help you from afar with pic's and measurements. You can also visit www.dolby.com for help as well. The Pioneer manual as some good info on speaker placement. Follow the THX guidelines and you will be fine.

Very nice , I really like the Rt /SC combo. I think they sound their best on it. It's like they where designed to run on ICE power. Very pleasing .

Audio Nirvana doesn't truly exist. The XSP-1 doesn't exist. It is only a dream.

The Pioneer SC Elite still remains as Audio Heaven. Please say this is so. Mantis couldn't survive otherwise.

I've been waking up in the night , cold sweats , no balance and screaming these very words. Thanks for the help bro:tongue:

wish u were close too haha i have money! lol  Im not to worried about my tv, hell its just an insignia. But as far as the audio, I try and read everything I can, and ask as many questions as I can. Theres always something new you can learn. Im still in the mist of coming up with a better floor plan for my set up. Might move everything around. But either way I should try and post some pictures haha

I am totally happy with my SC-07 I just see no reason to upgrade to a newer model as I am not ready to upgrade my TV to 3D.. I just don't see where I would gain anything..

You are correct from many points of view. the only reason I would like to upgrade mine to the SC-57 is the dual sub outs and IP control. it' really doesn't sound any better like they said it would. The SC-07 is a remarkable achievement in sound reproduction with the right speakers , wires , sources , calibration and speaker placement. When all thee factors come into play , it's pretty remarkable.
I came from separates back to a receiver which in many eyes nutty. But it stands on it's own ICE power amps with a good footprint.
