Rti 10's
I know this has probably been beat to death a hundred times, however I am about to pull the trigger on some new speaks. I currently have t90e(m60)'s i would really like to get the RTi A7 however there 1000 for a pair or I can pick up the rti 10's for 500. My question is two fold is there a 500 dollar difference between the two in sound quality and how big a step up are the rti 10's from M60's?
Thanks Thomas
PS will also be picking up a Pio SC-35 to run the new speaks.

I can't comment on the differences between all the speakers you describe, as I have not heard the A7s or the m60s, but I do own a pair of RTi10s, and absolutely enjoy the Hell out of them. I like them all the way around, but I would also say they were more suited to HT than 2 channel.
Is there a $500 difference? Not sure, really, but if it was my money, I'd put the $500 you'll save towards an external amp and maybe some good quality bi-wire speaker cables (made a huge difference when I did that). So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

Yeah I'm pretty sure most of the difference is cosmetic. I'd probably take the 10s over the A7s given that much price difference.ALL BOXED UP for a while until I save up for a new place

I can tell you I had the 60's and now have the Rti8's, and the 8's are WAY better speakers. I can only imagine the jump the 10's would be, I think the A7's are nice but a lot of the difference with them is cosmetic, maybe slightly smoother highs. I'd take the 10's and put the $500 you saved into something else for your system. I just picked up the SC-35 and I absolutely love it.
