insight RTA 15TL's

Can anybody give me some insight on the 15 tl's . Pair available to me but not fimiliar with them. Only exp. With Polk is the 12b's. So using them as a referance what can I expect? And what are they worth I'd nice shape. Any info is greatly appreaited.

    That was very informative thanks. I really love the 12b's and have been looking to see or I should HEAR something even better from Polk! But this seems a tall order!!! I like the detail and sound stage I get as well as the accuracy maybe a mater of senergy with my system.not wanting to replace the 12b's just try something new!

    I saw that pair on the Tampa CL. They look nice. If my house wasn't full, I'd get them but not for $400.

    From what I've seen of pricing here I thought that was reather stiff as well.

    I compared a pair side by side with SDA 1C's and while the sound signatures are similar, the SDA's win hands down. The 15TL's have decent bass but it can seem very boomy if the speakers are too close to the wall. I ended up selling mine. Those are definitely over priced IMO.

    Ya i have seen a few nice sets lately on CL. I seen some 12's for 100 bucks and some nice monitor 10's for 200. But i think 400 is a little steep for the 15's. I would say 300 in excellent condition.
