B&K Reference 50........

For your consideration, I have a B&K Reference 50 Pre. I am the second owner. It MIGHT have a problem with the optical output, but I am pretty sure it is a setting that I am missing during the set-up. I just chose to use coax cables instead of optical. I have my DVD hooked up via multichannel and it sounds incredible. There are no other known issues with this unit. It will come with power cord, manual and the remote (which is a URC MX-700 and I think I even have the disk. If not, the program is downloadable form the internet).

There are no blemishes on the fascia of the unit, no scratches, all display lights work as they should. All in all, it is a great sounding and highly regarded pre. I just don't have the space or the need for this after purchasing a Pioneer Elite AVR from Trey.

I will post pictures this evening when I get home. These seem to go for close to $400 regularly. Considering the POSSIBLE issue with the optical (again, I am not sure there is one - I just couldn't figure out the settings), I will sell for $325 firm plus shipping. I honestly don't recall how much I paid for it, but know that it was more than this and I had to buy the remote separately. If I am off base on my asking price, please let me know.

It is a little dusty and flash artifacts are not blemoshed. There are some fingerprints as well. I assure you I will give it a good cleaning before shipping it out.

one thing I need to know is, besides optical, does the XLR and other outputs works fine?
I really need to be sure about for I did have bad experience while buying a amplifier but was broken.

I guess I have to sweeten the deal a bit. With this, I will include 6 XLR to RCA monoprice cable (5 are 3 feet I believe and 1 is 20 feet I believe). Does that help at all? I am not desparate to sell, but would like it gone so my wife doesn't give me the evil eye everytime she looks at it!

Man, if I had my 2 channel amp for my setup in the office I would be all over this as it looks to be quite a good pre.
