Need advice on PR as far as dynomating them? What would that achieve? And are the PR's different on the 7 and 10's
Im thinking they are due to the 7's only have 1 midwoffer versus the 10's 2 midwoffer. They should be weighted different shouldnt they? So they should not b interchangeable?
Also what is meant by buring in a fuse? Are these some sort of magical fuses polk made special, versus ones that are in an older car?
Also Do u think I can still get the emblems for the monitor 7s I just got? There missing and the grills need to be redone with fabric, Smoke infested and slight holes in them as well.
What would b a good cleaner to clean the cloth on the peerless tweeters.
Any sugesstions? After sitting for a good while I sure the cloth on the domes need to b cleaned to achive there optiom response. These babys came from a heavy smokers home. Even after cleaning the cabnets they still smell like smoke when they play. Im sure the tar and nicoteen is still on the cones.

I have a pair of extra grills for my Monitor 7b's I would sell. I think they should be the same size. Not sure about price. If interested make an offer.I got static in my head
The reflected sound of everything -
I think I would leave the tweeters alone or maybe just wipe them off. They should sound fine as they are. Tobacco smoke permeates everything and is very difficult to get rid of. I'd buy the grilles from rromeo but leave them off for a few weeks and just play the speakers. Car dealers use an ionizer to get rid of odors in used vehicles but the service techs have told me ionizers have little or no effect on tobacco smoke.TO ERR IS HUMAN. TO FORGIVE IS CANINE.

Thanks for the info guys! -
I wouldn't touch the tweeter domes myself. The slightest amount of pressure can damage them.
If there are larger pieces of "fuzz" on them, you might try a pair of fine tipped tweezers to remove some of the bigger pieces. Other than that, I wouldn't try to wipe them off or anything.
As far as cleaning the mid-woofers and passive radiator goes, use Windex...It's the best. Just spray 5-7 squirts on a folded paper towel or lint free cloth and wipe them down real good. You may have to repeat a few times depending on how dirty they are.The nirvana inducer-
