So I played with this in my 2 channel rig last night for a few hours, I won't go into to much of a reveiw as I would like to play with it some more later today.

Here is what I did, I used the XLR outs to my pre.I took my computer monitor and hooked it up via HDMI so I could play with the settings, made things a lot easier. I play SACD,CD,DVD Audio, DVD concerts,I also put in a Bluray movie (BOLT) just to hear a movie in 2 channel.

So far I love the SACD,CD Playback, Very Nice!!!,It was also nice to finally play my DVD A's in my rig, The disc I played was Queensryche Empire, and I was very pleased it is the best I have heard Queensryche with my system, nice and clean and the biggest shocker for me was there was nice bass coming from this disc, something my other Queensryche disc's lack..

Ok now to the DVD concert disc and Bluray Disc I played in my system. I changed all the settings for stereo so it wasn't trying to play in 5.1 in a 2.0 First let me say that the center imaging with the SDA's is awesome with this format no need for a center speaker. But the lower end from these disc's lack IMO with just a 2.0 I will play with it some more but right now if one was wanting to play these disc's in there 2 channel I would say one would need a subwoofer just for this playback only. I have no desire to have this set up in my 2 channel rig I was just wanting to see how it would sound.

Later today I will put in my RCA's and take out the XLR's I am not expecting any changes at all but what the hell it there so why not. sorry I didn't take any pics yet but I will.

Let me add this OPPO really puts together a nice package when you first open the box your very happy!! It is a very nice piece of gear..

I will add pics later, and I will report back when I put it in my HT rig..

That 95 sounds like a great unit. I pulled the trigger today and bought the 93. It will be here tomorrow as well as a Carver TFM-35 I found in mint condition. Will have lots of new toys to play with this week-end.

Keep us posted on your impressions of 2-ch and any comparisons you have with your previous BD player. I have been looking at this unit for sometime, swaying between the Cambridge Audio BD player and this one.

When I pulled the trigger on this unit I was wondering if it was worth the cost to upgrade from my Pioneer BDP-51.

I have had some time to play with it the last couple of weeks and all I can say is WOW I love this this unit.

Updating filmware is a breeze (wireless) the PQ and SQ is fantastic!!! and every movie seems to sound better then the last. much quicker load time then the Pioneer.

Spending some time tweeking my HT has also helped in SQ as everything seems to blend nicely..

    Loving my OPPO!!!

I am also very happy with my 93, with only one caveat. I recently did a firmware update and now have Netflix, as I live in canada. the trouble I'm having is getting my titles. One time I'll get an error saying I'm not connected, when I actually am and the next time it will grab titles but very slow. It is not my internet connection as I check and lots of bandwidth (20 meg down x 3 meg up). I also checked my internal network and the oppo is connecting to my router at 135 meg (wireless N). I think there is an issue with Netflix as oppo says there is no others complaining with this issue.

It's been with the A9's for awhile now I just haven't spent a lot of time with my HT rig, and yes I am using both HDMI and analog out.

I haven't spent any time with multi channel music yet though..
