Looks like those are being offered by a guy who is a regular on the boards. I've done business with him and he's definitely someone you can trust. I'd say the price is fair. I have a pair of beat up studio 2B's I got for $200, but for a pair of the nice walnut version with some work already done, I'd say jump on them!

Ah, I found his handle. Thanks for the responses!

Hopefully I can get the deal worked out. Only 4500 miles between us. There are never SDA's available, let alone 2B's here. Hopefully a friend can grab and store them for me.

    Good weekend all.

LOL... There's a guy up in your neck of the woods who's got easily a half dozen pairs of SDA's in storage somewhere. I don't know him personally, but I want to find a way into his will!

    Knei,
    (Beautiful river by the way)
Jump on them. As long as the price is right for you. I have a set of 1B's sitting down there in the twin cities that I will hear one of these days.
If you have family in the area that will hold them for you that would help.
You are right about SDA's up here, Snow (a fellow polkie in FBX) and I have stumbled across a few pairs up here, but they aren't behind every bush. Not like the East Coast where they multiply in peoples closets during the summer wonths.
Makes the hunting for them a worthwhile pastime.
Hope a pair shows up locally for you, but if I have anything to do with it they wont last long.

    Monitor 4, 5, 7, 10's, SDA 1B's, 2B's, 2.3TL's, RTA 15TL's all in storage waiting for me.

The unsung hero of the SDA lineup....the SDA2. The price is fair and keep in mind I live in Polk Audio central, so anything over $100 is highway robbery.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Gentleman they have been sold, to the same 15 year old kid who bought my 1Cs. Stuff on CL never sells for what it is listed for. Your asking for trouble if you do not ask more then you know they will sell for. He got them for a little less then asking price. knie was next in line. Keith
