Bought Carver's new tube amps on ebay, have SRS 3.1TL, now what?

Hi guys,

I just bought Carver's BLACK BEAUTY tube amps on ebay and I obviously want to use it with my Polk Audio SRS 3.1TLs. I have the inter connect cable, but just the regular one that you can use with common ground amplifiers. Two questions: I do need the other more complex interconnect cable, right? And if so, where can I get/make one?

    Talk to some that own them or Bob to see how to make the mono amps common ground. Sometimes you can put chassis grounds together but ask Bob Carver to make sure.

    I can't answer your question but we would all love to see pics of the setup when you get it in place as well as hearing your impressions of the system.

    You need to buy the original Polk AI-1, make one yourself or have one made for you. You will not be able to tie the chassis grounds together.

    Last I checked with Bob, he said strapping the negative outputs together was ok to do, but I will be making an AI-1 just the same.
