I'm sure this has been beat to death but it will be my first amp. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this is a good combo? Using Pioneer VSX-1120 receiver.
CS2 center, Monitor 40's surrounds and 2 PSW 505's. Thanks for any help.

I probably should clarify I mostly listen to music. Probably should have built a 2 channel system instead.

All things being equal I would prefer the Rotel, but I'd assume it would cost you a little more. Either would be a definite upgrade over the AVR.

I ended up buying an Acurus A-200 X3. Hope I made a good choice.

Acurus amps are very good, I would say they are better build than Rotel.

Got the amp today. Love it, sounds great. Need to save up for a couple of Lsi 15's now.

Its a solid amp. This one of the good examples of not needing uber watts to drive speakers hard an true. I just sold mine... I'm regretting it, but I need to invest in some projects.
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
