Back to baseball... I predict that this season the Mariners will... again try to make me forget that I am a baseball fan. Oh well, spring's nice in Arizona no matter how they look!

Blah blah blah.. You and your favorites to win it all. Blah blah blah

Have you ever been to a spring training? I thought it was pretty cool and I wasn't even there for a game. Went to the Braves spring training one year at the Disney sports plex deal. Got Maddox's autograph and picture with him.

Me and my girlfriend just decided that we are going to go to Mesa next year, should be pretty sweet. Go see the Cubs and her cousin plays for the Rockies so we should be able to see some cool stuff at their facility.

    I didn't make any predictions.

No, haven't been to a spring training. Closest thing I've ever gotten to a warm weather, non-counting sports event was the Pro-Bowl in Hawaii.

That first day I smell freshly mowed grass, it's going to be unbearable! I'm going to have to go to a Nats or a Mets game just to beable to watch a game 'cause Phillies tickets are hard to get for an affordable price.

One year I would like to get to Spring Training though. My grandfather went a bunch of times. Brought back cool stuff like signed baseballs and such. I have the autographs of the entire 1983 Phillies on a baseball that my grandfather brought home for me from the 1983 Spring training along with a Phillies Yearbook signed by Mike Schmidt.

I have been to quite a few spring training parks over the last 5 years or so and I enjoyed Phillies' the most. The Tiki bar in left field is a great place to watch the game.

I can't wait for baseball!! I'm an Indians fan that has now moved into Reds country, so I support both teams as much as I can now. The g/f and I are planning on doing some driving over the summer and checking out a bunch of different ballparks. Not sure which ones yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

    Here....

Baseball smells like Tequilla, Bud Lite and Hot Dogs sweating out of the guy next to me as he bakes in the 100 degree sun.

I try and catch a couple early season games that are played in the middle of the week in the afternoon. The Rangers only play a few of them due to the heat. Skipping work to go watch a game always brings back nostalgic good memories.
