Just picked this amp up: don't know if this is the right forum but what are the opinions as to using this (have a "2nd ZONE" pre-amp out on my ROTEL Pre/Processor) to power a propective pair of RTA 11T's? Thinking my records might sound good through the Tandberg's phono section as well, using it as a pre-amp.

1st post: please be kind!

Cheers!

Welcome to the club. I didn't quite catch what amp you will be using. My RTA11TL's are fairly easy to drive. I assume that the RTA11T is too.

The Kenwood Basic M2 should be fine for a set of RTA-11's.

Using it through Zone 2 should work just fine.

The Basic M2 is an excellent amp. I've used one with my monitor 10s for about 25 years. Great bang for the buck!
