So just wondering if there is some way I can use my old HK 510 (80 watts) that has preamps with my HK 2600 (65 watts) I know I should have picked up the 3500 but you know the old saying hind sight is 50 50….

Or run then separate use the 510 to drive my PS3 via the Fibre Optic cable for listening to BR music videos and CD’S and just run more cable to the speakers?

My speakers tSI 500, tSI 300, CS20, Kef sub

Just use one, using two will just make things complicated and probably not sound very good.
    Main Surround -
    Epson 8350 Projector/ Elite Screens 120" / Pioneer Elite SC-35 / Sunfire Signature / Focal Chorus 716s / Focal Chorus CC / Polk MC80 / Polk PSW150 sub

    Bedroom - Sharp Aquos 70" 650 / Pioneer SC-1222k / Polk RT-55 / Polk CS-250

    Den - Rotel RSP-1068 / Threshold CAS-2 / Boston VR-M60 / BDP-05FD

Use it for a garage system. Just because you CAN do/use something, doesn't mean you should.

You do not have anything to loose by giving it a try. Use your 510 to drive the fronts, and if there is a setting for the 2600 to be used as a 2 channels, you could pre-out from the 510 to the 2600 to drive your surround. That will give a bit of a break to both AVR amps.
