Hey all,
trying to piece together a garage rig. I presently have Polk mini monitors inline now. There is someone local selling M10a's in my area with all new drivers. However Im not that sure if that size isnt too big for what I need?
Anyways any help? any suggestions besides fleabay?
Thanks,
Matt

I just bought some of those Monitor 10's. they are pretty big but I wouldn't say they are too big, especially if you have room for them i the garage.
Some might say they should not be used for that purpose but I think you should have good sound even when working on things outside the house... Assuming its a somewhat clean environment and temperature is not an issue.
What are they asking for them? -
I understand you want to buy Monitor 5's (the older vintage ones?).
I love tham and have had about 6 pairs. Because of their size, they are excellent for a smaller rig, yet they have great sound.
I have a pair I would rate a 7 on cosmetics but drivers are all in very good shape.
I probably could get them delivered to you in St. Louis area. My wife is from there and we go back and forth. Het, I got them in St. Louis!
Let me know. ng -
