1.2TL's for sale

Well, after MUCH deliberation with my conscience, I have decided to let go of my beloved TL's. With my new extremely limited budget I can no longer juggle two expensive hobbies (hifi and musclecars). And I am dying to get my Roadrunner's engine back up to speed. So, for $1700 dollars you will get a pair of SDA SRS 1.2TL's with the coveted AI-1 interconnect. Both speakers are in very nice condition both visually and sonically. They are finished in walnut. I will deliver within a fairly ridiculous area of Kansas City, we can determine what exactly is ridiculous later. Since I have fairly limited internet access at the moment, I will foolishly (?) put my phone number on here. I am best reached in the evening at 913.755.3804.
So here ya go guys. I realize at this price they're not a STEAL but we all know these go for more than 2 K on ebay. Then you have to pay shipping, so this ain't that bad a deal. If you do live out of the ridiculous area, we'll have to figure something out. Thanks guys!

Doro, I agree with you 100%. Stubby did do the right thing and offer his speakers to Club Polk first! He is also a real gentleman and very professional.
I am soon to be the proud owner of these speakers which I have been looking for for many months.
Hats off to you Stubby..

Stubby,
Since you already sold your 1.2TL's I wonder if you keep some
spares for the 1.2TL's eg. SL3000's, Drivers. If you have
some of these I want to buy from you.
Let me know,
Har

Big Dan....
Do you really prefer Polk's over Thiels?
I ALMOST bought a set of used Thiels CS6's.
But, when I listened to them.... they really didn't sound any better (to me) than the classic Polk's.
Do you agree?
Ron -
Thanks for the kind words, guys. Dan is a real class act himself and I would highly recommend him for any transaction.
Har, no I haven't accumulated any spare parts over the years. Sorry.

I was also curious myself why this old post was resurrected and, after reading through it, I am more curious as to how the speakers were moved from Kansas City to MA. I assume there must have been a long road trip because I cannot imagine shipping those monster speakers.
