OK, so I ended up with WAY too many amps!!! I have several amps I need to sell. I am willing to ship all. I accept paypal and usps money order. All prices below do NOT include shipping. Here is the list...

Home Audio Amps

Parasound HCA-1200II - $275 (Have Manual, A few scratches, but nothing crazy)

Adcom GFA-555 Original - $250 (Have Manual, Clean for its age, but a few scratches)

Adcom GFA-565 Monoblocks - $550 (Pair. One has 20mV DC offset and the other has 500mV. That one will need to be repaired and have the caps replaced. Have Manuals and Original Boxes)

Adcom GFA-5800 - $500 (Have Manual and Original Box, Pretty much spotless)


Pro Amps

Crown CE 4000 - $500 (Have Original Box, Excellent Condition) These make AWESOME sub amps!!!

Crown XTi 4000 - $550 (Have Box for XLS 802D, but this amp will fit fine) These are also great sub amps with built in Parametric EQ (Pre and Post)

Crown XTi 2000 - $325 (Have Box for XLS 802D, but this amp will fit fine) These are also great sub amps or main speaker amps with built in Parametric EQ (Pre and Post) I ran these on my LSi9's and I loved it. Just moving a different direction.

Polk Monitor 70 Cherry's - $300 (Have Boxes and all Original Material, 2 months old)

    Heck of a price on that HCA-1200II. Got three of them and they are great sounding amps.

    Jesus that Parasound is tempting...especially since I am wanting to upgrade to some LSi 7's or 9's in the future......

    Any Parasound with a MkII in its name is a John Curl revision since that's when he joined them as a consultant. Just as a footnote and that's not a bad footnote in my book.

    Is that rack rash on the upper right corner?
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Yes, that is a little rack rash on the 1200II. It shows up worse in the picture than it is in person. That is what I paid for the amp so I wanted to pass the deal on to someone else.

    I hate it when people don't use washers when they rack mount gear, not meaning you DC. That's a nice amplifier and basically a revision and couple internal components/upgrades away from being an HCA-1500. It was made in 1996, the 1500 came in 1998 when they diversified the lineup.

    AGREED! I use washers on EVERYTHING! If you look closely on the pro amps, they all have washers. Washers, or it doesn't go in the rack!

    Parasound 1200II Pending to punk-roc. The 5800 is also sold. For some reason I cannot edit my original post.

    Ratster, the Adcom GFA555 would be an excellent match to your setup, as would the 1200II. Both amps sound VERY similar. I ran both of them for a while, and found myself switching them out from time to time. I ran it on Monitor 70's. The 555 is a very capable amp.

    God, I wish I could financially justify taking one of those Crown amps off your hands right now. I'm running a Samson 1000 for my SVS 20-39CS+/Buttkicker rig, and it's starting to show its age. Good luck with the sale!

    FYI-I bought the 70's,2 yrs ago,from Polk's Ebay site.Thay were llisted as Reconditioned.They arrived very well-packed in tall Polk boxes.Thay were packed,so good,I had to cut the boxes off of them....to get them out.(if you see holes punched in the sides...that is UPS trying to get hand-holds to carry the boxes....they do this intentionally!).

    Polk charged $60 shipping to anywhere in US(I was cross-country in Boston,Ma).

    They were perfect and I was very happy with them,as I didn't have much dough for towers and these were a terrific deal.
