powering mm120's from a jbl bd1200.1

Hi, i recently purchased a single mm120, in a q-logic .85cu ft. box. I also just purchased a jbl bd1200.1 amp to run the sub, it will do 600WRMS@4ohm.
What i'm wondering is if i will have any problems with overpowering the momo, or if the 500W RMS is actualy a lower number than what they will really take before breaking. Thanks(btw, i have about 20hours of break in time running the mm120 off of my old 260W amp, cant wait to finish the break in, and run it on a real amp
