For any fans of late 60s and 70s blues rock, the new Foghat CD, Last Train Home, fits the bill. It seems to also be well recorded with minimal compression. I think it will be some time before I get tired of listenig to this CD.

I love Foghat, also you should check out Savoy Brown. Three of the original members of Foghat were in that band.

Probably not, but I was unaware of any current music similar to the Blues/Rock played during the 60s and 70s. I came across this Foghat CD while on Amazon buying some original Blues CDs (Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Howlin Wolf). I also bought "The Very Best Of Canned Heat". They were one of my favorite bands in those days, and this CD sounds great, and the songs are still worthwhile. So between new Foghat, and old Canned Heat, I now have 2 good Blues/Rock CDs to listen to. :D
