Elton John: an artist I never really listened to, well I never owned any of his material. I always liked his songs that would be played on the radio or the roller skating rink. Now I own every SACD some vinyl, and a DVD and BluRay's, The guy is fantastic.

Elton John is always in rotation in my house.

    Enjoy the show!!!

    Larry.

I can vouch for the Hamilton setlist - Looks right to me. Incredible show, you're really in for a treat. Even at 63, he's still an incredible entertainer, and still carries a tune. Managed to score a pair of 5th row tickets on eBay a couple hours before the concert for $65 each :D

saw him in miami in '03...was skeptical at 1st...enjoyed watching the SoBe wierdoes...when he opened with 'funeral for a friend' with his original guitarist, he had my full attention. the setlist looks the same as it did then. high energy show.

Wow, set list actually looks like it could have been circa. 1990. Lots of 70's material from the height of his career.

My first live Elton John show was Thanksgiving Day, 1974. Kiki Dee opened and John Lennon guest starred. One concert I will NEVER forget. The entire show is actually "Disc 2" of the "Here and There" CD.
    :D
    Have seen him a total of 4 times ('74, '76, '80 & 84).

I think he's been opening with "Funeral" for a while now. I have to say, it's quite the entrance.

Jgido, this tour was to support his Greatest Hits album if I'm not mistaken, they had it up on the screens before he played, so that might have something to do with the incredible setlist. I just wish he'd have played Can You Feel The Love Tonight

For Elton to have a greatest hits they might as well just do a box set of "all" his material and put Greatest hits on the box..

Yes I like the guy that much..

Nobody is a bigger fan than I am but c'mon already, what's this, like his 10th Greatest Hits release?

    greatest_hits.jpggreatest_hits_2.jpgto_be_continued.jpglove_songs_1996.jpggreatest_hits_1970_2002.jpg

    Plus the "live" albums:

And that's not counting all of the "low budget" releases. Which release is he actually touring in support of?

Er, "The Definitive Hits" I guess this might be the last one then, unless he releases "The Definitive Definitive Hits"
