need some advice on speakers

just picked up a pair of polk ce lsi7,anyhow thats what it says on the back,im a newbie at this and would like to compliment these speakers with a polk center channel any recommandations, i brought them for $120,dont even know if that was a good deal, but the sound is great so thats all that matters, any advice would be helpful thanks

    I would say get the LSIC and yes if you got them for 120$ and they are in fact LSI7's you got one heck of a deal.

    You can barely buy a set of TSI-100s for that price and those are entry level..while LSIs are flagship quality bookshelves from Polk.

    thanks for the advice, yea im lucky i have a friend that lives in pawn shops, he found these speakers sitting there so i scooped them up, any idea how long this series of speakers been around? now have to get lucky finding the center channel,also picked up some psb image 3LR speakers,that im using as front speakers?anyone familar with this brand picked them up for 90 bucks? any idea how i should best set this up

    IMHO, I would put the LSi's up front with an LSiC and call it a day. One word of advice though, keep in mind that those LSi's are 4 ohm speakers and it is very important that they have lots of power to keep from damaging your speakers or AVR, or both. If your AVR has pre outs, I would look into getting an external amp to power them. Adcom, Rotel, Sunfire and Emotiva all make the short list. In the meantime, be careful with the volume knob so you don't kill those 7's, that you got one heck of a deal on. Gotta protect your investment, and welcome to Club Polk.
