DirectTV HDTV anyone?

I was interested in seeing if any one has experience with DirectTV's HDTV service. Gimme all you got!

    Not that shinny! I need to wash it, but it's freakin' freezing out there (at least by the time I get home).

    Anyway, I called DirectTV up to ask about it, and it's only like 2 channels. Not worth the $500 you have to put down for the "special" sat. and the HDTV reciever. Guess I'll wait a few years.

    You: But Justin, don't you need a HDTV for that

    I pay like $10 a month for the HBO Package. This way I get HBO-HD and HD-Net. Those are the only channels they offer. Its pretty good service. HD-Net is still very new and are still working on expanding their programming.
