I picked up my towers from the repair depot today. They went in for a buzzing noise coming from the sub when everything was shut off. The repair guys replaced both amplifiers and said that they are good to go.... Here is my dilemma, the two amps do not look similar, whay is this? Was there a change in parts due to a known problem? Did I get a wrong amplifier in one of my towers? I hope that you guys can help me out here.

Thanks

Steve

Both were replaced under warranty. I marked the old ones just to make sure.

When you say "repair depot" do you mean they were sent back to Polk or point of sale repair.

I'm willing to bet (if I had anything worth betting) that the amps are identical except for cosmetics.

    However:
If it was P.O.S., yeah I can see that. I don't like it, but I can see it.
If they went back to the Polk mothership and came back like that I'd be pissed.
