I have a CARVER 1.5t and would like to modify it by having VOLUME control on left and Rights? :confused:

REASON:
My receiver SONY1070db has 2nd room option.......it need a amp with volumen control.....

Please advise......I believe there's way to accomplish this.

    Not sure I follow. Why not connect the sony to a preamp and then to the Carver?
    Unless, the Sony 2nd zone aren't pre-outs but outputs to the 2nd zone speakers?

    Get a volume control for the speakers (inwall volume control) and wire it that way.

    Dont eff up your amp.
