Recently purchased RT55i's. However the existing speaker wire that I have is flimsy and not quality at all. What gauge replacement wire should I look for, i'm interested in the best sound I can get, without overkilling. And should I bother buying terminating accesories? (If so which? banana, pin..)

I forgot to mention that the room I listen in is relatively small and the longest application of wire would never excede more than 25 ft.

Hi:
I like Monster 12ga premium cable with gold plated banana plugs. Make sure the banana plugs have a set screw on top and bottom, where the wire goes in, or you won't get a good connection.

For about 50 bucks, u can buy 50ft of new MC 10 gauge speaker cable, to get the maximum benefits of the RT 55, I do recommend u to biwire them... Enjoy...
