I've got a pair of 5jrs with blown fuses. Does anyone know what type of fuse goes in the 5jrs?
Thanks

Read the info on the fuse caps.

The info on the fuses is unreadable. Where would I get these fuses?

i just picked up a pair of monitor 7's, and one of them is lacking both the fuse and the fuse holder. both are playing, with no apparent problems (all the drivers are firing, and sound great). do i need to do something, or can i go without a fuse? if i do need a fuse, how would i go about attaching a new holder?
    thanks,

Not all old monitors have fuses. They eventually switched over to an internal circuit breaker-type design.

my pair of speakers appear to be an original matched pair, so i had assumed that the fuse assembly had been broken off of one of them. how do i check if the speaker i have should have the assembly, or has an internal setup like mentioned?

Well, without the fuse present (if it's truley broken off), you'll get no sound out of the tweeter on that speaker. That would be the easiest way to tell. Unless the previous owner somehow bypassed the fuse terminals and just has it straight wired.
