I own a pair of 1.2s' that were upgraded to 1.2tl. I did the tweeter upgrade but never installed the internal back braces. Do you think I should bother installing them. What improvments will I hear with them installed. Thanks Tom

I never received the back brace with mine but what I have heard from others is that installing them will clean up any muddiness of the midrange/midbass. Should you decide to sell the braces I would be interested. Just let me know.

I don't have the braces either. I would have to make them. Soupbone

Given the height of the 1.2 and the height where the 8 drivers are at it would make sense to me that they could be moving somewhat at higher volume levels. I think spikes would work well with the brace but I'm afraid the 180 pounds would push them through my wood floor.
