I wish they had US dollars on those price tags.

I remember servicemen in the 60's buying overseas because the exchange rate was so low.

I like them all but that Denon Integrated looks pretty powerful. I just looked on the web and I was mistaken. I found a similar int. that was a SX11 and it was $5,000.00+. I didn't check it's stats since I can't afford it at all.

Nice stuff. I understand that the Japanese products run on 100V AC. Is that compatible with our standard?

Why can't you bring anything back? I see Navy guy's do it all the time. When my niece and her husband came back from Japan they had a ton of nice HT gear.
When I was a kid my parents told me to turn it down. Now I'm an adult and my kids tell me to turn it down.

Maybe need a step down. Do they run 50hz or 60hz cycles? and would that make a difference?

Interesting. Looks like the regions are different in the same country!

For video I know there is the NTSC/PAL thing on video. All other electronics I see people bring back here work just fine.

    Another find while window shopping.

Tear Drop bar 50's to 80's music all in vinyl.
    Simple:

Choose your drink and you get to pick a song.
