After 31 years and 4 months of service with the Department of Defense, today is Bev’s last day of work before retiring. I’m so proud of her accomplishments, dedication to duty, integrity, and professionalism. She is highly respected by many as the subject matter expert on all things budget planning/execution and fiscal law. Her opinion was sought often by management because they trusted her institutional knowledge and reputation. Never afraid to challenge management, they rarely challenged her. She also trained many along the way to do things the RIGHT way, and to have a meaningful understanding of what they were doing.

Love you, immensely proud of you, but most of all HAPPY for you. You retired on YOUR terms.

    Oh, I'm still working. I am fully eligible to retire, but I'm gonna do 3 1/2 more years to put me at 40yrs. It's a significant gain in retirement pay.
