Mathew Polk's P1800ES?

I was at a family reunion last weekend and a cousin of mine said something that sparked my interest. My cousin restores cars, mostly european and often Volvos. Now we don't know each other very well, other than my liking of Volvos, and he certainly didn't know that I am a Polk Audio fan. My cousin told me that he had acquired a Volvo P1800ES that once belonged to Mathew Polk and restored it. This is the 2-door wagon that Volvo released around 1972.

I'll have to see if he has any pics. He fixes cars up and flips them, so he may not have it now.

  • My brother owned this car that Matthew Polk had around 1989 it was Maroon and had an impressive sound system and even had a CD player . My brother sold the car a few years later around 1991. If your cousin still owns it car please get in contact with me.

I believe he sold it but I'll check. He may have a record of who bought it.

I assume you are into Volvos. I have had several and presently drive a 2005 V50 T5 M66.
