Love the pics Drew. Seems like you and I have more things in common again. Been an avid photographer for 30 years.

Thanks Joe, glad you like them! These are just from my Samsung Galaxy S8, but I've had a Canon Rebel T3i sitting in the box for nearly 2 years that I've been meaning to start using.

Shots from today’s exploration. This was on an isolated island on lake Hartwell. As you can see from the headstone, 200+ years old and only accessible from boat. Very cool

Very sharp and well exposed shots, I like the patina that nature makes on stone that's been exposed for several years.

What kind of camera are you using?

That was just the iPhone 8.
But I use FUJI gear now. The mirrorless cameras are as good as DSLR’s these days. Good enough for me to walk from my $7000k Nikon a few years back.

    Beautiful shot!

If you find yourself with your phone more often than your real camera, check out these lenses: https://www.shopmoment.com/shop/categories/lenses - I ordered the wide angle for my S8 but haven't used it yet. (seeing a trend here?)

My wife loves hers, here's one of her iPhone shots with the Moment wide angle:

Sure is. In many cases you can only see 3 of the 4 due to the layout and viewing angle.

Was in Sam’s Club yesterday. This is getting ridiculous. At this rate, they should have their summer stuff on display next month!

Thanks guys. It was a happy sad.

We had a big get together at my uncles and we all had an blast. She would have liked that.

Lots of memories, stories, pictures and shared sadness.

As we were finishing the service and saying our last goodbyes, there was a clap of thunder, lighting and downpour of rain. I’d like to think it was her telling us she’s ok and in heaven.

The second we left it stopped long enough for all of us to get to our cars, then as we were leaving it down poured again.

I don’t believe in coincidences but there was a very small chance of showers Saturday, so believe what you will.
