    Happy birthday guys.

For some reason i thought Jesse's last name was different. Are you sure it does not start with a Vam and end in pire?

I hear Darryl cooks a mean opossum
Granny would be proud of that pie.

I'll tip a beer for Darryl and a sprecher cream soda for the Grand Poobah

Jesse Buya Vowel, 104, passed away peacefully at his home in bed September 1, 2018. It is believed it was caused from carrying his oxygen tank down the long flight of stairs to his bedroom coffin that made his heart give out.

    7ank7lcj10at.jpg

And Darryl "The Other Brother" Polvado, passed away at his home on the same day, while checking the voltz meter outside his home. Sadly he stuck his finger where it didn't belong from being drowsy and not paying attention due to being over worked through 33 straight weeks of mandatory overtime.

    3bawjtfgxgsn.jpg

They left behind a hell of a lot of stuff to their fellow Polkies who have no idea what to do with it. So if you’re looking for 2 extremely large TV’s from the 90s, a large ceramic stork (we think) umbrella/cane stand, a toaster oven (slightly used) or even a 2001 Oldsmobile with a spoiler with only 71,000 miles and 1,000 tools that we aren’t sure what they’re used for. You should wait the appropriate amount of time and get in touch. Tomorrow would be fine. This is not an ad for a pawn shop, but an obituary for two great men who left behind a very dysfunctional family of Polkies that they were very proud of.

Jesse was world-renowned for his lack of patience, not holding back his opinion and a knack for telling it like it is. He always told you the truth even if it wasn’t what you wanted to hear. It was the school of hard knocks and yes we were told many times how he had to walk for miles in a blizzard to get to school, so suck it up. With that said, he was genuine to a fault, a **** cat at heart (or lion) and yet he sugar coated nothing. His extensive vocabulary was more than highly proficient at knowing more curse words than most people learned in a lifetime. These words of encouragement, wisdom, and sometimes comfort, kept us in line, and gave us something to pass down to our children. Everyone always knew where you stood with him. He liked you or he didn’t, it was black or white. As his audiophile forum children we are still trying to figure out which one it was for us (we know he loved us).

Darryl was a hard worker and a secret lover of the music of Phil Collins. He had a nice home audio room he referred to as his stu-stu-studio. He was a master cook in the kitchen and on the grill. He believed in overcooking everything until it chewed like rubber so you would never get sick because all germs would be nuked. He was an avid lover of audio shows and offered bourbon to his guests. He lived by the adage, "Exercise makes you look good naked, So does bourbon. You decide. Please drink responsibly!" He'd work an entire Sunday and then turn around and give his hard earned money away to a good cause. That's the kind of guy he was.

    They will be sorely missed.

btw...I am curious as to how Jessie's birthdate was obtained. One of the closest guarded secrets around here. Maybe the date could be had, but not the year. Only God knew that, and only disclosed it to Moses as the 11th commandment. He came down with 10, keeping that 11th to himself. I think I now know what is hidden in that Arc of the covenant.

We have to toss a few back for them, because at their age they could really hurt themselves lifting anything.
