$150 for the next 30 minutes
    Micah

Main system: Technics SL3200, Shure M97xE, Lafayette LR1100 for tuner, Hagerman Audio Labs Bugle 2 phono stage, NAD C352 integrated, Boston Acoustics VR 2, Boston PV500, generic ICs, and BJC Belden speaker cables.

Desktop: Dell Precision 690 running iTunes, Yamaha RX-v665, Monitor Audio R90s, Velodyne VA-907, generic ICs and speaker cables.
I've always thought the goal of high-end audio was not to have your neighbors bang on the wall and say, 'Turn that darn music down' but to have your neighbors bang on the wall and say, 'Tell your friends to go home and you can practice later this week'.

You sound like a used car salesman with the temporary "today only" deals. It's a turn off, but it's your speakers so do as you please.

Nope not sold. I’m gonna put them up on Craigslist shortly then i hope they will go (relatively) quickly.
P.S. my adapter that connects my tablet to my receiver failed and I think I’m gonna replace it with a DAC instead so I can actually improve the overall sound of my system so if anyone’s got a DAC that they’d be willing to trade (and depending on the DAC some cash) I might accept the offer... but not guaranteed that I will.

    Bump
Here are a few links to some of these (and different models from the same line) that sold.
Here is the next size up, sold for $700 not including shipping.
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/INFINITY-CRESCENDO-CS-3008-FLOORSTANDING-SPEAKERS-/132557336669
Here is the next size down, sold for $250 not including shipping.
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Infinity-Crescendo-CS-3006-Museum-Condition-Refoamed-Original-Box-FREE-SH-/152903666256
There used to be several more that have since disappeared, the listing I’m thinking about was a 3006 with the tweeters downgraded to polydomes that sold for $350.i am eventually going to list these on CL, but I haven’t found the time.

I didn’t quite understand how big these guys are... oh well, doesn’t matter too much. Bigger the better, right?

Ok, so I hooked these things up and played Led Zeppelin “Stairway To Heaven” and all I can say is... WOW. Easily the clearest sound I’ve ever heard in my room, and definitely the best sound stage out of any speaker I’ve ever had. And I don’t even have the cable!
MUch more listening to come tomorrow.

I used a piece of Monster cable to try and make my own SDA cable, and although the sound stage was better, it was pretty much what I heard before. So I took some measurements of my room, and it isn’t big enough. They are about 1.5 feet from the side walls, and 4 feet from each other. :confounded: I’m gonna try and see how long my room isn’t the other way, hopefully that will work out better.
I will say, I tried them out in my parents room which is much bigger, and it was just incredible. The sound stage wraps around you, and you are right there in the concert.
I just need to find away around a small road block. Then, I’ll be rockin’ again.
