You guys are the worst! A bunch of eggers - and NO, I do not have $2K to spare LOL. I drive a Jeep now - Just Empy Every Pocket, remember?

Those are sweet players indeed - it's funny, I have two of the aformentioned Sony 9000ES series, and (probably jinxing myself right now) have never had a problem or a hitch with either one. I actually really think they're great players. Here in LA I'm running an older Marantz, and it's very nice too (certainly better looking), but sometimes it doesn't catch all the SACD layers. Oh well.

I'm going to start looking for one of those toob ones you just picked up Drew - that's a beaut! ... I mean, after I sell one of the other three ... four I mean. Forgot about the Minimax... sigh.

Those are getting long in the tooth, but DANG that's a good price. One could buy both and sell one on ebay for that price and come away with a free (or almost free) beast of an amp to play with. If I was local I would definitely check it out!

Here is a GREAT one! 300.00
I've been wanting a newer Def Tech BP10-B or this rare model BP30's that I saw years ago while researching the PB10-B's. Not too much info on it but Trey Mr3 has a thread posting or 3 on this model. I loved the BP10b's and these are twice what they were. I can't wait to hear these in a better cleaner more open room. These were very clean BUT the sub has been around the block a couple of times for sure. The sub needs repair she said.

And I was first in line. A hick-up on day one yesterday, but he got it straightened out and called me this morn. I'm back and they're put away except the sub. I have to make room for it in the back room.x81gg4khcwpc.jpg

Awesome story, but I must poke the bear....

Have you not learned that you need to have moving blankets on you at all times lol...

I have a box of pillows in my garage for padding, and 4-5 blankets in my trunk in case either: I breakdown with no heat during winter OR I need to pick something up and protect it spur of the moment lol...

We gave you a pass on the Goldenears... but now we have to keep poking fun until your next score picture indicates you have heeded our wise counsel

If you always wanted a 69 Mustang Fastback and one finally showed up near you for thousands less than it was 10 years ago, would it be an addiction problem if you had 2 cars and a truck already but you had just enough room for that Mustang too? :p:)

As soon as I got 10 miles down the road, guess what popped into my mind? My yellow fluffy blanket isn't in my car! :s:s I was seriously peoed about my forgetfulness. I had to get a receiver, antenna ,screw driver and allen wrenches if I had to take a base off. Spare drinks, lots of ice, cash, map. All checked. But that blanket that's ALWAYS in my cars trunk was used for something else some where around here. Maybe in my truck behind the seat! I'll look for it tomorrow if I remember too...Maybe I used it to keep our neighbors cat warm on cold nights when they would leave him out all night in 40* or less nights.

Thanks for tapping me lightly on the back of my head to say, "hey, I told you just a few weeks ago about this unpreparedness!" ;):)

If I bring something else home after today, I'll have to build a mezzanine. Or I could enclose some of my porch area on the side of the cottage to store my woodworking tools and hardware things which is a massive collection too.

    Ok. I'll delete what I wrote. :)

I just had the worst few days in quite a while. I've gotten around to repainting my house which needed it bad. The neck and shoulder workouts have tightened things around my bad throat and neck. But today was a great day. I picked the set up, came home and even painted my front porch walls before going out to eat with the step daughter and wife. It is the step-daughters Birthday. It was a good! day. :)B)

I wonder if there's an easy way to set up space for two separate 2 channel rigs out in Tony's man cave. They could be setup in a way that would make swapping and trying out gear super easy to do.

I just want to spend a day or two out there going through all the gear and trying different combinations of it, to find out what has the best synergy! :)
