R30 speakers +hook up to TV

Hi, my brother gave me a pair of R30 speakers that he had hooked up to his TV. I would like to do the same. I have a samsung TV with 2 connections that say audio right and audio left. They are only 1 connection each. The R30's have 2 spade connections each. What cables would I need to hook up my R30's. Thanks, Tim

    You can't hook them up directly to a TV, you need to buy a receiver to power them.

    tonyb, thank you, my brother had a sound system so it makes sense now. if I understand you, I need a receiver and the tv hooks up to it and then it powers the speakers? sorry I am such a newb. I will google this and thanks again! tim
