Had that same guy before I migrated to electric.

Propane is so nice for consistent heat.

Got one similar to that one.

Have not used it much but did smoke some ribs yesterday, the family said they were good. I was not overly happy with the end result.

Hopefully some of you who have mastered these things will chime in on some of your secrets and advise.

I also order this. I don't think the thermometer on the door will be that accurate.

Make sure to season/cure your new smoker. Congrats, I have 3 grills outside and it is a nice hobby!

Have you tried the 3-2-1 method for smoking ribs?

never ran into a pork belly in one of our local grocery stores. see on a lot of the bbq shows where they cut the ribs away from the belly and cook them as individual pieces.

I have found pork belly in Asian markets. Usually the larger stores with large fresh meat and seafood counters.

Specially Korean Grocery Markets. You can find pork belly bonless or regular with the skin on. Also pork chops with the skin on and those are great. Back home we call them Chuletas Can Can here is a sample.

My tongue is slapping my brains out looking at this pork, that looks delicious
2 channel: Anthem 225 Integrated amp; Parasound Ztuner; TechnicsTT SL1350; Vincent PHO-8 phono pre; Marantz CD6005 spinner; Polk SDA2BTL's; LAT International speaker cables, ZU Mission IC's and power cables all into a PS Audio Dectet Power center.

Other; M10 series II, M7C's, Hafler XL600 amp, RB-980BX, Parasound HCA-1500 amp , P5 preamp, all in storage. All vintage Polk have had crossover rebuilds and tweeter upgrades.

For anyone wanting to get their feet wet for not really a lot of coin, BJs still has this
Oklahoma Joe's Highland for $80 off list. Pretty tough to beat for 2 Benjamins IMO.
I've done a tenderloin, some St Louis ribs, and a Boston butt so far, and each has turned out better than expected.

@Irrenhaus I like the chicken you did there!
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?
