Hi All,

Are this any good. Never heard of them before. It seems it was a division of Mitsubishi. Not sure about the price. Not much info out there. They did retail for around $1800.00 in 1986

I'd be interested. The Mitsubishi gear of that era was legitimate quality. Not sure if it is true of their speakers though.

Some of the Mitsubishi Diatone drivers and loudspeakers were world class. Others were more typical of massmarket Japanese loudspeakers of a bygone era (i.e., sort of pallid JBL knockoffs).

Many were very, very good -- not so many of those made their way to the US market, though.

The Diatone P-610 family of extended range drivers were justly well-known & well respected. They were in production for a long time, as well.

EDIT: Heh, we used to live in Milpitas! :p
