The yard is almost done again. The drive-way gets a pressure washing soon too. I bought one of those spinner drums from Lowe's Home Improvement yesterday. I read some reviews on which brand to get and found a decent one for 100.00. The Crape Myrtles are budding profusely now. The Red Tips are ahead of them and doing great too. I like it when this yard looks like this. The flowers will start blooming more and more. The Confederate Jasmine is sprotting a lot of new growth since the late freeze killed a lot of the vine this year. So we cut it back this spring.
I feel nothing smells as good as Confederate Jasmine.

This year had the best weather for these Japanese maples. They're going crazy! They're almost ready to be turned into trees. B) That little green one in the front yard has been sickly for about 10 years. Never growing hardly at all and only growing enough leaves to stay alive. I think the old Cedar tree that used to be in the front yard was drinking all the groundwater around it. Poor thing. This year is an awakening for the little guy and also the maroon one beside the driveway. It's growing and blooming profusely too.

That reminds me. My wife and I cut back a Wild Cherry tree to its trunk beside our back porch. It was huge. I think it, along with some other trees, were drinking the water away from those Japanese Maples around my truck. The Oak tree in the center behind our back porch just sprouted in height the past two years. We'll have to see what effect it has on the green JM under it. I planted everthing in my yard except that wild Cherry tree that just sprouted on its own. It provided shade for years and years but those little berries, ( hard cherries) were a nuisance! Anyway, here's 6 more before bedtime tonight!
