I once worked at Barbara Bush Middle School and met her when we had the naming dedication. She held my daughter who was a little less than a year old at the time and commented that she must be walking because she had on rubber sole shoes. Good memory for me and my family.

Just saw GW on TV. He said he was visiting his Mom last week. She turned to the Dr. and said, do you know why George is the way he is? GW said, the Dr. looked somewhat perplexed and replied, no. I had the honor of meeting both she and GHWB touring the Battleship Texas back in 95...She radiated warmth and goodness..Made you feel special to just be in her presence...She truly had a very fulfilling life..RIP to a great lady...
