    Good thread.
2 channel: Anthem 225 Integrated amp; Parasound Ztuner; TechnicsTT SL1350; Vincent PHO-8 phono pre; Marantz CD6005 spinner; Polk SDA2BTL's; LAT International speaker cables, ZU Mission IC's and power cables all into a PS Audio Dectet Power center.

Other; M10 series II, M7C's, Hafler XL600 amp, RB-980BX, Parasound HCA-1500 amp , P5 preamp, all in storage. All vintage Polk have had crossover rebuilds and tweeter upgrades.

The best way to predict the future is to invent it.

It is imperative that we recognize that an opinion is not a fact.

Imagine making politics your entire personality.

There's probably members here who are JUST having their nostalgic years now.

Years later they will think back and say, " I remember those speakers I had way back in, let's see, 2018. They still required wires to connect to the source. Man those were the good old days!"
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

There'll be boutique audiophile radio waves by then.

Yeah, and MIT will include a signal booster with them.

Once again during my formative years with interest in aviation. Got one of these FF helicopters, maiden voyage, worked great, floated over to a nearby heavily wooded area, and it was gone! Never to be found again!

I had a brother who learned a lot of stuff! He showed me this and told me its name. I still remember it 50 years later. It's funny the video maker says it makes the strangest sound. YEA, ZIRCH is how you might spell the sound those drips make.

We grew up in the city. B)

This was called a "Zirch" device. I thought it was the coolest deviant thing I ever saw. I don't think they did it right. I could show them the right way... :D:#

I didn’t. I was getting the powder from caps one day and had a nice pile in front of me when somehow the one I was working on went off. Nice instant sunburn.

Memo to self. Keep the gunpowder away from the work area. :)

Used to make coke can tennis ball cannons. 3 or 4 cans, taped together with the ends cut off all of them except the bottom one. Poke a hole in the bottom and insert tennis ball. Add a generous amount of lighter fluid into the hole and add match.
