Polk Vanishing 700-LS Placement??

I just received a pair of these, installing them will be no problem but they don’t tell you which way to place them, or does it even matter, but to me it looks like they should be placed a certain way to the listening/sitting area.

I can’t place them directly above the sitting area because of the duct vents in the ceiling above the sitting area, so they will be about three feet in front, or the rear, haven’t decided yet what might be best..

Anyone have any insight??

    I have those in the MB setup. Great speaker. They blend well with my Lsi7s.
    I would probably go behind you and install them with the tweeters toward you listening position. Going 3' forward would feel more like an Atmos setup I think.
    You will love the magnetic grill on them.

    Ok then I would go in front of you.
    If your only doing 1 pair see if your receiver will let you do a Middle height channel. It would be more in line will Atmos specs.
    If not I would think that the back Height channel setting can work too. The the room correction will account for the distance to your seating position.
